"New Study Demonstrates NanoScan`s Novel Contrast Agent May Identify Heart Attack in Waiting" company press release
To date, NSI has raised over $1.7 million in three investor rounds at successively higher valuations and has achieved its stated milestones for each raise. In addition to seeking capital, NSI will also entertain opportunities to partner its technology for other indications or applications, including research tools and reagents for the detection of unstable plaques.
Intellectual Property
NSI licensed exclusive rights to N1177 for all imaging applications from Massachusetts General Hospital. This license provides NSI with freedom to operate and includes rights to a series of patents that protect composition of matter, use and manufacturing processes. Early composition of matter patent work was for a particle size that is not approvable for intravenous administration. Additional new patent applications have been filed, describing the unique composition of formulations that provide optimal imaging for the indications sought. NSI has filed patent applications with multiple claims covering its unique particle size formulation and the use of N1177 in imaging vulnerable plaque and other disease processes.
